ABOUT US.
Interconnect Healthcare began in 2018 when CEO and Founder Kylie Payne acquired Kerrie Road Family Medical Clinic—an established Glen Waverley practice serving the community for over 40 years. This marked the beginning of the Interconnect Healthcare journey. Today our group employs over 140 dedicated professionals working across;
-
3 Medicare Urgent Care Clinics.
-
3 GP clinics.
-
A National Vaccination Service.
-
2 Radiology Clinics.
There has been rapid expansion starting in 2020 when Interconnect Healthcare partnered with the Victorian Department of Health, and the Department of Education, to deliver large-scale COVID-19 vaccination services across the state of Victoria.
In addition to this public program we also worked with large Melbourne private schools and leading Melbourne-based businesses and aged care facilities to provide vaccination services.
We have since grown this service, with our vaccination division today operating along the Eastern Seaboard, servicing clients in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

In 2020, we collaborated with Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) to provide the placement of 60 GP's across Melbourne at major COVID-19 testing sites, including the super-sites of Casey and Wantirna drive-through.

At the end of 2021, Interconnect Healthcare was awarded the Victorian Department of Health tenders to establish and operate four GP Respiratory Clinics (GPRC) in Eastern Melbourne local council areas of Monash, Banyule, and Whitehorse. These clinics operated 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering essential care for patients with cough, colds and respiratory symptoms.

In October 2022, Interconnect Healthcare's Glen Waverley site was selected as one of Victoria’s first five pilot sites for the Priority Primary Care Centre initiative. This was soon followed in December 2022 by Heidelberg, and May 2023 by Monash Children’s Hospital centres. In 2024, all three sites were designated as Medicare Urgent Care Clinics, operating 14 hours daily, 365 days a year.

Concurrently, with the opening of Urgent Care Clinics, we continued the expansion of our GP services; opening Bentleigh East GP Clinic, and Karingal Family Medical Clinic.
We also diversified into diagnostic services with the opening of Interconnect Imaging clinics in Heidelberg in August 2023 and Karingal in January 2024.
Our Vision, Mission and Values - what drives us.
Interconnect Healthcare was launched in 2018 with a vision to build a best-in-class healthcare organisation that focuses on providing exceptional customer care, delivers unparalleled customer experience, and is driven by a foundation of operational excellence and efficiency.
We have a business philosophy that we live by: "if we say we are going to do it, we do it!"
This “can do, move mountains” attitude has accelerated our growth to where we are today.
Our values help determine our corporate behaviours. They are important because they help guide our decision making, shape our organisational culture and ultimately help bring our corporate vision to life.
At Interconnect Healthcare we have 3 values:
-
Care
-
Trust
-
Efficiency
Our logo represents these key values as an ever-intertwining, ever-evolving process.

1. Care.
It goes without saying that CARE is an important part of our behaviour. It is inherent in what we do.
Care is more than just being compassionate humans. Care is about the little things. It's about being diligent in the work you do, it's about making the effort to finish the task properly, about going above and beyond in your role.
2. Trust.
Of course in healthcare our patients need to be able to trust in the service. Trust is a essential factor in the industry that we work in. At Interconnect Healthcare we think trust is more than just being able to do your job. Trust is knowing that when it's a tough shift, our colleagues have our backs, that we are all working to the best patient outcome, that we support each other in every way possible.

3. Efficiency.
It's imperative in this day and age that we focus on being efficient and productive. Our business is aimed at finding workflows and solutions that promote efficiency and productivity, ultimately providing a seamless experience for our patients.
